    We Do Social Work Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator (Caseworker) to join Enfield Council on a temporary basis.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional with recent Local Authority experience to support the delivery of statutory SEND services. The successful candidate will manage Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments and reviews, ensuring statutory duties are met and high-quality outcomes are achieved for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).
    • Produce clear, accurate and legally compliant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
    • Coordinate annual reviews and amendments to EHCPs.
    • Work collaboratively with parents, schools and multi-agency professionals.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory timescales and SEND legislation.
    • Maintain accurate case records and manage a busy caseload effectively.

    Essential Requirements

    • Recent Local Authority SEND experience within the last two years (essential).
    • Excellent knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015, and SEND Regulations 2014.
    • Proven experience producing high-quality EHCPs.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience working within statutory SEND services.
