SEND Keyworker (Contract) – Cheshire East

We Do Social Work is looking for an experienced SEND Keyworker to join Cheshire East Council on a contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong SEND experience to manage a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), coordinate statutory assessments, and work collaboratively with families, schools and multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
- Coordinate statutory SEND assessments and annual reviews.
- Develop, review and amend Education, Health and Care Plans.
- Work closely with families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies.
- Support placement planning and represent the Local Authority where required.
We're looking for candidates with:
- Experience working within SEND services and the EHCP process.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
- Experience working with children, young people and families in a multi-agency environment.
