SEND Opportunities
We are currently supporting a Local Authority with the recruitment of experienced SEND professionals for two interim opportunities. These roles offer fully remote working and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a busy SEND service.
SEN Case Officer (Backlog Support)
Location: Fully Remote
Rate: £280 per day
Contract End Date: 30th October 2026
Overview:
The Local Authority is seeking experienced SEN Case Officers to support with a backlog of cases. Candidates will be allocated work based on experience and service needs, covering both annual reviews and new assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of SEN cases in line with statutory requirements
- Complete annual reviews and/or new assessments as required
- Liaise with schools, parents, and professionals to gather relevant information
- Ensure EHCPs are accurate, compliant, and up to date
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced SEND team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SEN Case Officer within a Local Authority
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and processes
- Ability to manage a full caseload (not limited to one area such as reviews or assessments)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
