    • Work closely with Family Time Assistants, Social Workers and other professionals.
    • Liaise with health, education, police and other partner agencies to gather and analyse information.
    • Contribute to multi-agency planning and, where required, legal processes.
    • Work with families who may be experiencing significant challenges or be resistant to professional involvement.

    What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who has:

    • Experience working with children, young people and families.
    • Experience undertaking assessments of children and families.
    • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and child-focused practice.
    • Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills.
    • Experience working with families experiencing emotional, personal or practical difficulties.
    • The ability to build effective relationships while providing respectful challenge.
    • An understanding of attachment, parenting capacity and child development.
    • The ability to identify strengths, risks, barriers and capacity for change.
    • Confidence working independently and as part of a multi-agency team.
