    Educational Psychologist – Statutory Assessments

    Location: London – face-to-face work required
    Closing date: Friday 28 August 2026 at 9:00am

    We Do Social Work is currently recruiting HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists (EPs) with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience to undertake statutory assessments on behalf of a London local authority.

    This is an excellent opportunity for experienced EPs looking to undertake meaningful statutory assessment work with the support of an established Educational Psychology Service.

    About the role

    As an Educational Psychologist, you will be responsible for carrying out statutory assessments, working collaboratively with children, families, schools and other professionals.

    The role will include:

    • Conducting consultations, observations and assessments face to face
    • Working across schools, early years settings and family homes within the London borough
    • Producing high-quality statutory assessment advice and reports
    • Fully engaging with the service’s quality assurance processes
    • Maintaining 100% compliance with statutory deadlines
    • Working in accordance with professional, safeguarding and GDPR requirements

    About you

    We are looking for Educational Psychologists who:

    • Are HCPC registered
    • Have at least three years’ post-qualification experience
    • Have demonstrable experience undertaking statutory assessments
    • Are able to work face to face across schools, early years settings and family homes
    • Have strong report-writing and assessment skills
    • Can consistently meet statutory timescales
    • Are committed to high-quality professional practice and quality assurance
    • Can work collaboratively with children, families and education professionals
